In the 60’s, automotive history was rewritten. High-performance muscle cars made the auto industry a special place to be, and “Doc” Watson was right in the thick of it. As President of Hurst Performance Research, “Doc” had a hand in practically every exciting muscle car project that came out of the auto industry. As “Doc” has said numerous times, “In Pennsylvania we made shifters; in Detroit, we made magic!”
Together with George Hurst, Bill Campbell and a dedicated, dynamic group of people, “Doc” helped create vehicles and programs that are legend today.
