Mika Pauli Häkkinen born September 28, 1968 in Helsingin maalaiskunta is a Finnish racing driver and two-time Formula One champion. He is considered by many to have been Michael Schumacher’s greatest rival in Formula One. The German has said himself that Häkkinen is the rival he respected the most during his Formula One career. As a double World Champion, Mika Hakkinen had joined an elite group of Formula One drivers and is considered by many to have been Michael Schumacher’s greatest rival. He celebrated his greatest victory at Spa, with a sensational simultaneous pass on Schumacher and Ricardo Zonta in the Kemmel straight. This was the last point in his career when he was both the reigning world champion and also leading the world championship of the current year. Schumacher would describe his championship fight with Mika as the most satisfying one of his career, an indication of the great respect between the two champions.
